COVID-19 Screening Protocol
Due to COVID-19, we require that any client coming into the clinic perform a screening before entering. We are sending you this prior to your appointment so you have a chance to review the questions.
If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms please contact the clinic as soon as possible.
Are you exhibiting any of the following? (Other than a known medical condition-IE allergies)
- Fever (37.8* or higher)
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Sore throat, trouble swallowing
- Runny nose/stuffy nose or nasal congestion
- Decrease or loss of smell or taste
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain
- Not feeling well, extreme tiredness, sore muscles
If you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days or had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19, please let our staff know. We will be unable to have you in the clinic but can still see your pet.
When you arrive at the clinic for your appointment, please call from your car to check in. We will ask if you have completed this assessment the day or your appointment and if you answered yes to any of the symptoms. Please be prepared to leave your contact information for tracking purposes of who was in the clinic. A mask is required to be worn at all times (over the nose and under the chin) and we have hand sanitizer at the front door when you enter. Depending on what your pet is coming to see us for, your veterinarian will let you know if we are able to have you in the clinic.
