When should I consider euthanasia?

As a team of pet owners ourselves, we understand how hard considering euthanasia can be. Though it may be painful to get through, the decision is only ever yours to make. Our team will help guide you through every step of the process. Some factors you may consider when making this difficult decision are:

  • Your pet’s unique health situation and age
  • Can their medication or treatments continue to reduce their chronic pain?
  • Were they diagnosed with a terminal disease?
  • Is their quality of life being affected by prolonged pain and suffering?

Will my pet feel pain when being euthanized?

The procedure is generally peaceful and stress-free. Our team will ensure your loyal companion is calm and as comfortable as possible during every stage. During the procedure, we will inject a high dose of anesthetic which will cause their heart and other organs to stop working. Though it might seem scary, it is quick and painless, allowing them to fall asleep and pass on peacefully. After the procedure, you are welcome to take as much time as needed to say your goodbyes to your loved one.
